VISIONI DAL FUTURO: "DUBSTEP" ('Hyperdub label', Kode9, Burial, Scuba, Vex’d)



Nel panorama delle espressioni musicali contemporanee un ruolo altrettanto importante del rock lo svolgono le musiche elettroniche. Tra queste uno dei filoni più interessanti è quello del
"Dubstep"

Dominano le atmosfere plumbee, da periferia industriale depressa, una rappresentazione del mondo come nella fantascienza più pessimista. Potremmo dire che il Dubstep è la perfetta rappresentazione artistica/musicale dell' “idea di futuro come minaccia” , secondo la formula dello psicoanalista Miguel Benasayag . Però ha un suo fascino morboso, quello di un horror in bianco e nero, o di una performance di arte contemporanea. Musica non per tutti, che richiede un ascolto attento, la più rappresentativo dei tempi in cui viviamo.
